“Do you remember when people really went out to a club and danced all night? People danced in couples bussing their moves.
It was all about the music and those infectious grooves. Every singer or group had their own sound; as soon as you heard the first note, you knew which band or singer it was. You’d head onto the packed little wooden dance floor, where, despite the squeeze, there was always room to do your thing. No selfies or phone distractions like there are now—everyone just grooved to the music. Just thinking about it makes me want to head to the record collection and slip on a tune.
